As it happened:



Flag So the finishing order of the Sprint race was Netherlands, Ireland, Portugal, Italy, Monaco, India, Brazil, Switzerland, Malaysia, Mexico, Australia, Great Britain, USA, France, Indoneisa, China. Switzerland didn't get time to serve its penalty, so it wil likely be dropped down the order, giving Malaysia the last point.



Lap 13 Brazil team are saying it was a brake failure. We'll see later.


Lap 13 The Netherlands wins its second Sprint race in a row.

Lap 13 The race has been red flagged because of the crash.


Lap 13 Brazil and South Africa have collided at the first corner.


Lap 12 Doornbos has got this race won easily. He is storming ahead.


Lap 12 Switzerland's have got a stop-go penalty for coming into the pits outside of the window.



Lap 11
Doornbos is pushing and has extended the lead to 3.2 seconds.


Lap 10 Netherlands now has a 2.7-second lead.


Lap 9 So the order is Netherlands, Ireland, Portugal, Italy, India, Monaco, Brazil and Switzerland, who can't hold off Felipe Guimaraes when leaving the pits.


Lap 9 Now Switzerland's Jani comes into the pits.


Lap 7 Ireland and Portugal have both got passed Italy in the pits. The Italian stop was a bit slower.


Lap 7 Switzerland has the lead, with Neel Jani staying out on track.


Lap 6 Thankfully nobody is hurt.



Lap 6
Drama in the pits. Brazil's Felipe Guimaes takes a tyre right out the hands of a Chinese mechanic, it goes flying.


Lap 5 Netherlands have a good stop.


Lap 5 Teams are coming into the pits.


Lap 5 The pit stop window is now open.


Lap 3 Switzerland's Neel Jani is making great progress up through the field and is now 11th.


Lap 3 USA's Marco Andretti is going for it. He tries to get on the inside of Mexico, and actually ends up letting Australia's John Martin through.


Lap 3 Safety car is coming in.


Lap 2 So the order is Netherlands, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Monaco, India, Malaysia, Brazil.



Lap 2
Lebanon comes into the pits after the German contact. Daniel Morad retires.

Safety car.


Lap 1 Germany and the Lebanon make contact at the tight turn 6 hairpin. Germany has a badly damaged rear wheel and has to retire.



Lap 1
New Zealand spins out at the third turn.


Lap 1 Netherlands' Robert Doornbos gets away well and grabs the lead from Italy's Luizzi.

And away we go!


11:00 Cars are forming up on the grid.


11:00 Zaugg has got away now, but he will start last.


11:00 South Africa has not get away. It looks like Adrian Zaugg had some kind of seat belt issue.


11:00 Cars are away on the start of the formation lap.

10:55 Drama for Indonesia already. Having stopped out on track on the outlap of from the pits, the car is being worked on to get it ready for the Sprint race. We're not sure what is wrong.
